Terrorists: Destroyers of Human Values

Do terrorists follow any value system? What are they trying to achieve? Human Values have obviously no meaning for them, They swear by violence, bloodshed, mayhem, brutal killing of innocent people, creating a burning hell on our beautiful earth. They are the devotees of a Devil  in the name of holiness. How do you tackle these inhuman monsters of meaningless cruelty and terrible violence?
